Here's to New Beginnings!
Updated: Nov 21, 2020
Happy Sunday! It's been a while since I've posted, but 2020 has thrown me for a loop. I'm sure you can relate. Between keeping up with day to day life and the additional issues we're experiencing as a nation, I'm exhausted. So, Born to Inspire podcast and blog, hasn't been nearly as consistent as I had hoped, but here's to new beginnings!
Recently I've reflected on how this year has changed my life and the world around me. I've seen changes in relationships. Relatives I haven't spoken to in years are back in my life again, and there's a renewed sense of appreciation for each other. I feel blessed with my family.
As a nation, I feel 2020 has made us stronger. There's the sense that if we can make it through this year, we can make it through anything that comes our way. We are indeed resilient. On the other hand, we are divided as a nation. There's a plethora of hate, anger, and bitterness that weighs heavy on our hearts day in and day out, but I will say there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Throughout history, we've survived wars and depressions. We will get through this. It's essential to continue to love and appreciate each other and to do our best to understand those with opposing beliefs. As I always say, politics is personal.
Speaking of staying positive, someone who has it down to a science is Dusty Ray. In episode 16 of Born To Inspire, I talked to this happy-go-lucky guy about the law of attraction. Dusty had to close his Colorado Springs store, Energy, Art and Goods, due to the crushing effects COVID-19 had on his business. For some, this would be devastating, but with joy in his heart and hope for the future, Dusty and his family moved the company online and packed up and moved to a new state. There they found their dream home and continue to live in the magic of life.
As always, inspiration is contagious, So don't forget to share it!
With love to all,
